Do you know being a Jack of all trade and master of none could be a stepping stone to building a globally recognised career?

Olamide primarily started as one, and today, she is not just a 'Jack of all trade' she is even better than '... a master of one'.

She went from primarily reading and writing to Marketing and Communications, to Digital Marketing, then to Project Development; but at the core, she reads and writes.

Olamide studied Computer Science, at the same time she is interested in a lot of things like:

reading, writing, listening to music, swimming, painting amongst many other things; which is more personality-driven.

Over time, she enjoys being a writer.

In this episode, Temi and Olamide had an extensive conversation on how to remain effective and relevant as a generalist.

Olamide shared her story of how she over time found herself doing so many things at a time and how she got

Ep 8 - (Valentine's Edition) How to WFH as Couples || How To Pitch Yourself For Any Role In Venture Capital

    It's Valentine's week!!
And you already know how extra I can get with these things.

In today's episode, I brought you a special guest, my husband, Kayode Oyewole.

Apart from being my husband, Kayode is a Partner at Ventures Platform where he spends most of his time making bold bets in early-stage companies building products that literarily push Africa forward and supporting portfolio companies as they find product-market fit and scale. He is a firm believer in reasoning from first principles. He regularly asks “How can Africa leverage technology as a force for good to solve really critical problems and ensure shared prosperity on the continent ”, This fuels his passion to invest in mission-driven founders.

Kayode served as a mentor on the Village Capital Fintech Africa Program and the Africa Entrepreneurship Award, where he provided advisory around product, distribution, and fundraising to about 50 companies who have gone ahead to raise millions (USD)in external funding. He helped Seedstars set up their pilot Venture building program in Nigeria.

He is a 2-time founder and was an Entrepreneur in Training (EIT) at Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST), supported by the Meltwater Group (San Francisco)

In this episode, we spoke about
