Fun conversation. I came into CHR in the late 80s and missed the Alter Boys, but The Choir was the big hook for me too. I’ve only seen them once, a living room show.
Top concert of all time? Violet Burning with Andy Prickett wearing platform boots with flames up the sides. They opened for a gay band at a bar.
I was in Albuquerque, and later hosted “Strictly Alternative” on KLYT for a year.
I look forward to hearing more from you guys. Be sure to fill in the show notes with everything you play, because we all missed some things. Also, I don’t know anything about you guys. What bands were you in, what are you doing now, etc
