We reach the final chapter in the life of Dwight Eisenhower as he faces a new age in America.

War is sometimes easier than leading. Eisenhower gains news foes in his political career and one of them is in his own party. In the meantime, Ike juggles leading a nation and keeping a cold war cold. 

Dwight Eisenhower wraps up his military career, but retirement and relaxation seem to evade him as Washington D.C. and the White House come calling.

The war in Europe isn't over yet and Ike has yet to uncover all the horrors that await him. 

Eisenhower is tasked with figuring out how to invade Europe as the allies bicker about the best way to do so. In the meantime, he finds companionship in Kay Summersby, one of the most important people in his life.

Trauma hits home for the Eisenhower family as well as a shell-shocked new world.
