Jézust egyre jobban szorongatják, a főpapok elhatározzák, hogy a közelgő ünnepek után valahogy elfogatják és megöletik. Azonban nem tudják, hogy nem ők irányítják az eseményeket. Jézushoz megérkezik Mária és drága olajat önt rá, nem is keveset. De miért olyan fontos ez? Miért mondja azt Jézus, hogy ez lesz az a történet, amit az egész világon fognak majd mesélni, ha az evangéliumot hirdetik.... mi ennek a jelentősége?

Jesus is being pressed more and more, the high priests have determined to arrest Him after the upcoming holidays and then get Him killed somehow. But they don't know that they are not the ones who control what's happening. Mary arrives and pours expensive ointment on Jesus. But why is this important? Why does Jesus say that this will be the story that will be told everywhere in the world when the gospel is preached… What is the significance of this?

Motivation for Ministry

A keresztény kultúrának fontos része a gyülekezeti szolgálat. A gyülekezet szolgálóit nagyra becsüljük, tiszteljük, fontosnak tartjuk, de maga a szolgálat nagyon könnyen válhat valami egészségtelenné. Ezt az egészségtelenséget nem is olyan könnyű észrevenni, de Pál szerint annyira pusztító hogy miatta elszakadhatok Krisztustól és kieshetek a kegyelemből. Téged mi motivál a szolgálatra?

Serving at the church is an important part of the Christian culture. We greatly appreciate and respect people serving at the church, we consider them important, but ministry itself can easily become unhealthy. It is not that easy to notice this unhealthfulness, but according to Paul it is so destructive that I can get alianated from Christ and fall away from grace because of it. What motivates you in your ministry?

The Words of Jesus Will Not Pass Away

Az ég és a föld elmúlhat, de Jézus beszédei nem múlnak el soha. Jézus utolsó hetén, az utolsó időkről beszél, és annak a templomnak a lerombolásáról, amit ő nagyon szeretett. Az őt hallgató tanítványokat sokkolták a hallottak és mind a mai napig keresztények vitáznak az utolsó időkről és Jézus apokaliptikus beszédeiről. De vajon Jézus azért nem mondja el a pontos időzítést mert elfelejtette volna, vagy azért mert nem az időzítés a fontos?

Heaven and earth might pass away but the words of Jesus will never pass away. During the last week of Jesus, He talks about the end times and the destruction of the temple He loved very much. His disciples were shocked by what they heard and to this day, Christians argue about the end times and the Apocalyptic sermons of Jesus. Jesus didn't tell the exact timing - is it because He forgot it or because it is not the timing that is important?

Everybody Wants to Go to Heaven But…

Jesus Is Greater

Jézust tovább kóstolgatják a farizeusok, de ő egyszer csak visszakérdez, amivel megfogja őket. De nemm ellenséges, nem megalázni akarja őket - hanem felnyitni a szemüket arra, hogy Ő nagyobb annál, mint amit gondolnak róla. Továbbá int a képmutatás ellen ill. példaként állít a tanítványai elé egy szegény asszonyt, akit senki nem vesz semmibe.

The Pharisees keep challenging Jesus but all of a sudden He asks them a question catching them off guard. But He is not hostile towards them and He doesn't want to humiliate them, He just wants to open their eyes to the fact that He is greater than they think. Furthermore, He warns against hypocricy and sets a poor woman everybody ignores as an example for His disciples.
