In this episode of the Good Humans podcast, we’re joined by Kal Glanznig, a remarkable youth climate advocate who is making a significant impact on the environment and beyond. At just 24 years old, Kal has already achieved so much—from advocating for and installing solar panels at his high school to founding Plastic Free Cronulla, and representing Australian youth at the COP UN conferences.
Kal’s journey doesn’t stop there. He’s the creative mind behind the documentary Rising Up, which highlights the urgency of climate action, and has taken on leadership roles as the general manager of Defina Swimwear, promoting sustainable practices in the fashion industry. Now, he’s leading youth environmental education through his Blue Minds initiative and is running as an independent candidate for council in the Sutherland Shire. Kal also brings his competitive spirit to the podcast as a former Australian junior representative for water polo.
This episode is packed with inspiration as we explore Kal’s story, his achievements, and his vision for a sustainable future.
