A series the podcast medium was made to create — deep storytelling, a broad human chorus of voices, firsthand witnesses, highly vivid historiography and context-mongering. Like a classic Dead set, it’s unafraid to go long but never draggy. For a lifetime Redwood City-raised Dead Head like me, this is sheer delight and pandemic manna from heaven.
