Finding the truth in fiction
As a former psychology major and someone who loves pop culture, this podcast was perfect for me. It could have just talked about how media reflects history, culture, and philosophy - but no, it doesn't stop me. They bring interesting guests on that have a wealth of information that allows for an interesting discussion. I'm assuming that every episode has a discussion that is as comparable.
I just listened to their A Beautiful Mind episode where they bring a very special guest Gil Kidron, who discussed how they portrayed it in the film. Excellent podcast!
Great Conversation, Broad Topics
Rutger and Gil (and their various guests) are the perfect people to listen to when you want to hear intelligent conversation. The variety of perspectives presented really helps you to learn something new in each episode, and there's never a dull moment.
