Such an informative and interesting show! Fun way to nerd out on space. Had to finally look the host up online so I could stop imagining Owen Wilson talking to me.

I love this podcast! Sooo interesting and on a level a lay person like myself can appreciate. The host is so passionate and enthusiastic - he is definitly a gravisity assist person in my life, in terms of my interest of the solar system. Terribly sad it has come to an end, but extremely thankful...Read full review »

I’m so disappointed that this show has ended. I’ve listened to it for years. Jim Green is such a great presenter. The topics are always interesting and Jim’s enthusiasm is infectious. Will Jim be doing anything else?

An outstanding podcast hosted by Jim Green, whose enthusiasm and joy mirrors the guests who all work with NASA. What a joy hearing about the huge range of fields we humans need to explore our solar system and beyond, the ingenuity in developing mind-boggling technology. Inspiring! You can read about any of NASA’s missions or operations on Wikipedia, but this podcast goes 10x deeper. The guests’ enthusiasm is infectious, and Jim Green’s hosting is engaging and humble (though he had a massive career at NASA, he asks the questions we common folk would ask — if we knew what to...Read full review »

Could be great if only it didn’t have that synth drone thro ALL of it! Your guest speakers say great stuff..they don’t need that. I can’t listen to this podcast because of that corny synth. Is it supposed to make me feel ‘spacey’ or something?

This is an informative podcast, but the host speaks like he is talking to the audience of Sesame Street. The way he speaks is literally the way an adult would speak to a child, and it’s very annoying. Either someone at NASA needs to grow some balls and tell their chief to talk normally, or the...Read full review »

So cool to hear NASA experts talk in depth (for a 20 minute podcast) about specific objects in our universe, and what projects NASA is undertaking to learn more about these objects. It’s just great to hear about planetary science from the perspective of scientists/engineers whose job is to study...Read full review »

So good! I look forward to each episode released and can’t get enough. It’s fascinating, well made, and the topics are well translated so anyone can understand.

Dr. Jim Green is the Chief Scientist at NASA, so it stands to reason that he knows an awful lot about most topics related to space. But as the host of Gravity Assist, you'd think he was an eager grad student, because he has a way of asking questions that help make even intricate topics...Read full review »

Fantastic podcast, really interesting topics and a great delivery from the host and guests. The background music I find horrendously distracting all the way through each podcast. Please consider stopping the music and it would perfect.

The science is good and the guests are interesting. But I can't stand the background new age music anymore! I may have to unsubscribe from this podcast. What exactly is the point of the music? All it does is make it harder to concentrate on what is being said. Pointless.Read full review »

The background music plays through the whole episodes and is annoying and distracting. Never mind it’s reminiscent of something a tree-hugging astrologer would do and beneath what Nasa should do. The producers need to lose the “cosmic background radiation” noise they lay enter the entire track. It’s a really annoying part of otherwise great content that’s well presented for non-expert but space interested audiences.

This is a great podcast. I love the insight the NASA experts provide, and am enjoying the series about the moon! Keep up the good work. Ps. Sometimes it’s sounds like I’m listening to Owen Wilson Rather than Jim Green!

It has been amazing to listen to this podcast, a true gravity assist to get through life’s tough challenges. Knowing about our solar system has made my problems seem small and insignificant, at least for a while. Keep the episodes coming.
