Description
It's a Boxing Day bonus episode of Grilling for you, as Simon is joined by the inimitable Andi Oliver. Andi has led an extraordinarily colourful life. A chef, restaurateur, musician and TV presenter, she grew up on RAF bases in Suffolk and Cyprus before moving to London at 17. It was there she met Neneh Cherry, with whom she took the stage in the band Rip Rig + Panic. She subsequently presented non-cooking shows like Badaas TV with none other than Ice-T - but has never lost her affinity for food. She tells Simon about hosting dinner parties as a kid, serving up honey chicken and rice for starving revellers at 2am, and reveals what's on her kitchen stereo when she's cooking. There are a couple of belting barbecue recipes for your delectation too. As always, we're giving away a premium Weber barbecue in this episode too. To enter, head to weber.com/gilling.   See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
