“I’m a big fan of these informative podcasts. However the Gallo interview confirmed all of my suspicions of this company. They are simply focused on branding, marketing and market share. And show little or no passion for wine. Regardless of their purchase of prime vineyards or wineries. Once they make such a purchase I assure you the wines will ultimately suffer from bean counting and corporate mentality. Big business is fine if that’s what you are into. But in my experience it leads to inferior wine. I needed a shower after listening.”
