The 3 of 3 cast on wine tasting is quite literally a master class and the best wine tasting guide I have ever seen, heard, or read. Really well done. Well structured, great information (I appreciate the forays into chemistry, as this is what taste and scent detection is about after all!), great emphasis on tying the general characteristic to perceptible qualities and to what that must mean about the grape, its growing conditions, and its path to the glass.
As a WSET student I especially appreciate the series' desire to explore outside the CMS scene. There is a demonstrated desire to find the most effective way which builds upon multiple effective traditions. This may be the Jeet Kune Do of wine understanding and discovery!”
