“Things I appreciate about this podcast: the shorter, 20-30 minute episodes are digestible and the hosts combine the right amount of small talk with actual information and pack it into one episode. I love both women's voices and actually think one of them sounds like Julie Foudy! I also love that they're bringing off-the-beaten-path stories to the forefront! I think it's a decently-organized show.
Things they need to work on: armchair diagnosing. They stated the girl in the first episode obviously had mental issues and experienced deep trauma. If I hosted, I'd be careful about injecting too much of my opinion into the storyline, especially if it comes across as factual. Along those same lines, I agree with someone else's comment about making political comments. I'd enjoy this podcast more if it were a politics-free zone. I think the hosts can still show plenty of personality without the political remarks.
Overall it's a solid start with room to polish that trophy, looking forward to listening to more episodes!”Read full review »
