“There’s a lot of negativity to Lee and others on here, I couldn’t disagree more. The reminiscences of years gone by and even of Bob Wilson’s time are fantastic. A look back at past triumphs in these trying times is welcome and I expect that when normality returns the focus will be on the team and the future. So for now, I for one am very grateful for these insights to years gone by, it does leave give me some nostalgia to remember some of the ups and downs over the years.
I have one question for the team.... I’ve heard a lot of appreciation for Don Howe, he was obviously considered a fantastic coach, whereas I remember his time as Arsenal manager as one of the most dreary periods of my Arsenal life. What do the Guys think and can you get a view from a player from that time- noting this is pre- Dicko?
