Lost Me in 2020
Huge fan of Gretchen’s work and loved the podcast until it got to be political. Politics in a podcast about happiness and habits is completely unnecessary. Isn’t there an unwritten rule to not speak about politics and religion? I just wanted tips to build better habits, not hear about politics. If I wanted to listen to politics I would turn on the news! So if you want to listen to two privileged, rich white ladies that who have no clue about reality, then this podcast is for you. Gretchen went to Yale, which was named after slave trader, Elihu Yale. Her father in law is former secretary of the Treasury, Robert Rubin, who loosen the financial industry underwriting guidelines under Clinton and no doubt contributed to the 2007-2008 Great Recession. He also received more than $126M in cash and stock during his 2 year run as a temporary chairman. Remember those bank bailouts? Yep, another white “woke” lady clueless about reality. Listening to Gretchen and Elizabeth this morning made my commute to work much more enjoyable. So glad I found the podcast and looking forward to implementing the one minute rule into my life. Also was struck by the one coin story - great way to build a habit. Can't wait for episode 2!Read full review »
