“This podcast is great if you’ve ever watched shows or YouTube vids on creepy places and were left wanting more info and background of the place. There’s a lot of ghost stuff out there that’s just shock, gore, or clickbait but this podcast is focused on good storytelling and research instead. Similarly to Lore podcast, it’s relaxing and spooky and I love learning the history behind these haunted places, the reason they feel so haunted. Amy is a fantastic narrator and does a great job crafting a story.
The only thing I would change: I just wish they were longer, because I enjoy the show so much. People devouring content on IG or YouTube might prefer short episodes (for short attention spans) but I think people listening to history-based or researched podcasts can definitely appreciate a longer format. But it’s truly a great show as is, keep up the great work Amy and Haunted Road team.”
