Good production value, but the way this podcast is framed completely ignores a lot of social contexts and psychological research behind rehabilitation. Further, it seems to really dehumanize and distance the listener from the individuals in the prison. I understand that Eubanks committed horrific crimes, but the collective prison population deserves basic rights, respect, and identities of their own. I urge anyone listening to this to watch the documentary 13th (on Netflix) to gain deeper understanding. Also, the male host has a really grating voice. This is the first time I’ve listened to a true crime podcast as the episodes are released. I’m on edge waiting for the next episode!
