I’m the manager of highly functional sales team. Sales is an emotional practice. How my employees feel goes a long way to motivate people to do what they wanna do. So I really appreciate the episode to be able to manage those emotions effectively. This one really spoke to me and has paid off for...Read full review »

I am totally blown away and impressed by the thoughtful, nuanced, insightful, playful, earnest, educated, enabling and entertaining questions that Alison asked when interviewing Darius Rucker. Being new to the show I was a critical listener but I am hooked if this is a reflection of all HBR...Read full review »

I listen to your podcast for years and love it as it is inspiring and mind opening. This episode in particular helped me to make a start in turning my PhD into a paperback. It triggered my curiosity and now I asked chatGPT for the tasks that made me stuck. It keeps things moving. Let’s hope I...Read full review »

The podcast - from hosts, to guests and topics - feels staid and academic. As a leadership consultant, I scan the topics but find I rarely consume or recommend the pod. Maybe all this is by design to align w/Harvard brand?

The bad leaders episode sullies the good name of HBR. It’s a hit job that an unwitting Curt Nickish didn’t catch on. Take it down.

HBR is captured by a “woke” ideology. It’s no longer focused on business success.

I listened to this podcast for well over a year and have listened to every one. If your looking to be influenced to the left in politics, You have found your podcast. This podcast used to do a good job at staying neutral and keeping to facts, not anymore.

Used to really enjoy HBR, but now it’s mostly for the social justice crowd.

Re: you podcast on rude customer behavior It does seem we live in an angrier society and I appreciate hearing Ms. Porath’s well studied insights. After listening I took a moment to ponder your conversation and was reminded of the Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto...Read full review »

Episodes are spotty. Topics becoming far too political. The doom and gloom is numbing; so much talk of climate change and destruction. We faced MADD in the 1960s-80s and the economies of the 1970s were disasters compared to present. I couldn’t get past the 4 minute point of this episode (10/25)....Read full review »

I’ve listened to a few episodes and it’s what I would call a rehash of accepted wisdom. It was interesting listening to the Union episode which to shows the disconnect between an academic and the real world. The academic was very obviously pro union and sadly the interviewer did not take the...Read full review »

I enjoy the podcast sometimes. I appreciate the business insights that are presented but I find too many episodes that contribute to our collective victim-mentality. Ethical business practices should be a consistent undercurrent, but it’s not the principal reason for listening.

While typically liberal in perspective this podcast has descended into pure leftist dribble. I’m out.

It is almost ironic that some of the most popular podcasts are very long. But a podcast about successful business is so short. I really do wish that the episodes were much longer and more in depth. Everyone seems to be cut off short. There seems like there is a lot more to talk about on each topic.

I appreciate the gaslighting episode but believe there needs to be significant more conversation about it. The reality is when someone stands up to a gaslighter they then become a new target. So the solution of someone else questioning or pushing back against the gaslighter isn’t that viable....Read full review »

I’ve been listening to it a few months now. Overall this show is interesting to listen to and gives really good insights into the business world.
