“Nihal is a truly incredible interviewer ... I don’t know quite how he puts his guests at ease so quickly, but they seem to understand that they can trust him not to be digging for gossip ... he asks extremely well thought out questions & gives them time to answer, without jumping in or talking over them like others I could mention!
And it doesn’t seem to matter who he’s interviewing, he somehow brings out the most interesting elements from their lives & he has such innate emotional intelligence that he draws out the essence of who they are & leaves the listener to get to know them.
If they’re selling a new book, as they sometimes are, I often end up on Amazon straight after the interview buying the book & I’ve bought several I wouldn’t have thought about before hearing the interview! Nihal has invariably read the book beforehand ... often to the complete surprise of the guest ... & has formed intelligent & thoughtful questions based on what he’s read. Always worth listening ... even if you don’t know the guest or think you’re not interested in the subject. I can’t recommend it more highly!”
