In July of 1995, a couple of police office were out on patrol on the streets of Ashoka Road in New Delhi when they came across a restaurant with thick, dark smoke emerging from within. When they inquired about the fire, they were brushed off by remarks that it was simply to "burn old election posters". It was only when they stepped closer, did they uncover the horrifying truth. Part 1 - We trace the events as the authorities uncover the restaurant fire and the mysterious circumstances surrounding it, as well as its ties to lead suspect and then congress leader Sushil Sharma. Part 2 - We delve into Sushil Sharma's heinous act, his runabout methods with the police, and how he was eventually apprehended.
