“I spend a lot of hours sitting in traffic on public transportation in Istanbul and so I’m a huge listener of several podcasts. After hearing Shane on the Duncan Trussell Family Hour and remembering him from an episode of Getting Doug With High I was really intrigued based on the description of his show. Not disappointed! I really love listening to conversations on a variety of topics through the perspective allowed by a comedian, it’s very easy to hear and relate to. Dr. Mauss’ podcast is certainly no exception. His research efforts give a really malleable syncretism to subjects that would otherwise remain hidden among the incestual orgies of field-specific research paper circulations.
Shane, I heard that you read your reviews and get a big joy out of it. I did go college and even moved abroad for grad school but can’t get a job above teaching English to preschool kids …… buttttt I hope you liked all my big words! ;) Seriously though thanks for your effort, it’s a really valuable for resource and I highly recommend it to others.
