“Alec Baldwin needs to deal with his obvious skepticism about #MeToo in order for this podcast to be truly successful. He is a great interviewer and has the best voice on any podcast, but it’s frankly uncomfortable how out of touch he is with women’s experiences with sexual harassment. I’ve been a listener since 2016, and I’ve noted this tendency long before the awful interview with Megan Twohey and Jodi Kantor (which, to his credit, Alec Baldwin admitted error afterwards). Stop with the Woody Allen and Harvey Weinstein namedropping, and stop minimizing the experiences of those who allege harassment and/or assault. It leaves a sour taste in listeners’ mouths and distracts from what would otherwise be phenomenal interviewing.”
