Increased Bias from Shankar
I used to love this podcast and would listen to it whenever I had extra time because it offered valuable information and insights. The host’s deep dives into various topics and the engaging interviews with experts were always enlightening. However, I recently noticed that the host uses biased language when discussing political issues, which has started to affect my enjoyment and trust in the content. For example, when speaking about the Palestine/Israel conflict, the host refers to it as the “Arab-Israeli war,” which implies that Palestine does not exist. This terminology is not only inaccurate but also dismissive of Palestinian identity and history. Additionally, in recent episodes, the host quotes studies from Israeli universities without acknowledging the ongoing human rights violations committed by Israel. This lack of balance and critical perspective is concerning and detracts from the credibility of the podcast. It’s very upsetting that the episodes seem to be taking sides, as I had appreciated the podcast for its previously objective approach. I hope the host considers providing a more balanced view on such sensitive topics in the future. Until then, I find it difficult to continue recommending this podcast as a reliable source of information.

For all the hype this was getting in the podcast world, it sure didn't live up to it. In fact, it was just plain bad. The content was shallow, the segments were short and unremarkable and it felt like after every few minutes they were advertising something or giving a shout out to another...Read full review »

The quirkiness and fun topics are very interesting. I find myself wanting to know more at the end of each episode though. If the production would cut out the cute transitions and extra "fluff" and expound on the subject matter, the audience would be even more in tune. TL;DR I love this...Read full review »
