Interesting

The podcast is interesting. The show host is too one-sided and not reporting just the facts. One example is stating some things that are not sins when in fact they are. In true Christianity there are things that are absolute truth. These truths are set by God and the Bible. In our society today, people are constantly changing the truths to fit their feelings or inclinations. I invite the host to really study the scriptures and seek clarity from the one true God.

Interesting, sad and reflective of so many issues

Definitely sad how much of the world was and is involved in Hillsong. So much misrepresentation of God’s Word in the podcast as well. The information about true experiences and how they felt, is what it is. Sad but honestly, we are told over and over IN Gods Word, for YOU to be in Gods Word. I know and study his Word, and desire to live my life accordingly. I would not have lasted a month in Hillsong, let alone years. Few of those individuals you interviewed sounded like they were grounded in The Word. So many complaints about homophobia, and “purity culture” I believe you called it. God’s Word is perfectly clear on these subjects. I would not have been as frustrated at this podcast had you completed research of what The Word says, and known that as well, so you could address all these claims at the same time.
Overall, thankful for those that have kept their faith, sadly the culture and its current misguided beliefs that do not represent The Word, impacted your opinion as much as the poor decisions those in leadership made.
Thank you for the effort.

What is Hillside?

I got through an episode and a half and finally gave up out of irritation. I have no idea what Hillside is, I assume it’s a mega church, of course, but start at the beginning. It’s like you just keep talking and talking and talking about it and there’s no starting point or ending point it’s just a bunch of mishmash of stories that I can’t really follow along because I don’t have any information on this church. You lost me.
