And then the podcast inserted present politics
I’ve long been searching for a History podcast that dwells into obscure topics with an approach towards reason and evidence. I thought I have found it. On my 4th episode of binge-listening, the episode “Maria Monk and her awful disclosures “ started playing. In it, the podcasters delivers, by way of introduction, a speech of modern politics, with the usual labeling of Trump supporters. I’m sick and tired of being told low-resolution interpretations of present day politics by supposed “respectable” journalists. Let alone a podcast that is supposed to be about obscure historical events. It’d be easy to dismiss my comment as “a Trump supporter”. You’d be very wrong n doing so, because I didn’t vote for him. But thanks to people like you, Podcaster, I sure will next year. And I am an immigrant.
