Very enjoyable
I've been on the look out for a good biographical podcast for a while. There aren't many out there and frankly the few I have found have been somewhat dull and too textbook like in its delivery. This is why I am delighted to have come across Historical Figures a few weeks ago. The show has clearly been revamped from its earlier format judging from some of the reviews below so I can only judge on the revamp. I think its excellent. I enjoy the clarity and passion the two hosts deliver in their story-telling. This brings some character to the figure being discussed. I think there is a good balance between making known significant achievements while also looking into a personal and lesser known side of the figure. And I come away having enjoyed learning about a person in history who one hour before I'd not heard much of. Or in a couple of cases so far where I knew of their achievements and why they are a notable figure in history, but not aware much if at all of the person behind the figure.
