Might be great
This is off to a good start. The narrator tells a story well, and he has a voice quite pleasant to listen to. He uses and quotes primary sources a lot, at least in the first full episode, which is important for a podcast attempting to tell what really happened. He does make one potentially worrisome mistake. He lists as an influence and inspiration the gullible, tin-foil-hat-wearing conspiracy nut Joe Rogan, a man with an entertaining podcast that is yet liberally sprinkled with foolishness like moon landing denialism. This harms our narrator's credibility slightly. If he makes any hard to believe claims I'll be tempted to fact check. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, though, since his first episode was very good and well researched. If it stays that way, I'll come back and add the fifth star he will have earned.Read full review »
