“Ecstasy of Gold is such a perfect intro/outro, it always gets me hyped. At the end of an ep I always do this thing where I visualize the last scene or a montage of the most dramatic parts of the ep as Ecstasy of Gold plays, whether it’s TR arriving at the White House, or Cortez and his 600 marching inland with their ships burning behind them, it always works wonders (although it was pretty weird when I instinctively did this with My Lai.)”
