Right up there with the Dan Carlin and Mike Duncan quality works. Wonderful balance of detail while maintaining a good narrative quality. Not enough work around of this calibre - a treat for anyone who enjoys their history.

This is off to a good start. The narrator tells a story well, and he has a voice quite pleasant to listen to. He uses and quotes primary sources a lot, at least in the first full episode, which is important for a podcast attempting to tell what really happened.
