“Excellent content and insight from an amazing variety of guests. Everything from other podcasters, Chicago sports media, opposing team beat writers, athletes, former players, fans, top-notch NFC North coverage, college picks, and of course The Fishman, Kevin Fishbain.
The postgame episodes are always my favorite. Always an excellent job on game previews during the week, offseason coverage, combine/draft analysis, OTAs, mini-camp, training camp, preseason, etc.. Even the random soundbites and clips are always hilarious.
I really love how they bring the coverage alive. For example not just the Xs and Os, but what it’s like to be in the press box, locker room, post game press conference, funny stories from Halas Hall, and the life of a beat writer on their trips to other cities/stadiums/hotels, etc....
I love Hoge/Jahns interviewing style, sense of humor, storytelling, and extensive knowledge and passion for all of us fellow Bear fans out there.
These guys have the right combination of expert knowledge and journalism, while at the same time relating to the fans in a professional non-homer manner after a great win, heartbreaking loss, dumb draft picks, etc...
Hoge & Jahns has something new and informative every episode. Thank you guys, keep up the great job.
