Every day is a school day!
I am so thirsty for knowledge! I have been at home with my four babies for the last 12 years, I came up for air and realised my sphere of experience had got very small. Homosapiens has helped me navigate my way into what the world has been doing while I wasn’t paying attention. I love the frank conversations, it gives me an insight into lives of people who I don’t meet in my day to day life, but I feel like it’s giving me the tools and language to speak openly about race, sexuality and all the colours of the LGBTQ+ community to my children. I want them to grow up with wide open minds. Thank you lovely boys. P.S. funny side note - I was listening to a podcast about powerful black women the other day and they said they were fed up of dealing with the male gays, I was outraged on your behalf. A second listen revealed they said ‘ the male gaze’. Similarly your advert about domestic abuse while obviously not funny gave me pause when you mention black male gas lighting. I thought to myself what new level of torture is this? Only to realise later that there’s a comma in there. Blackmail, gaslighting. Makes more sense. Love you boys.

More reviews of Homo Sapiens
I'm sure you have lots of plans for guests but I wholeheartedly agree with Paul (TPP) - would particularly love to hear teenage/young people's voices as experiences. Here and Queer!! Let's help Homo Sapiens to number one where they belong!Read full review »
