In the premiere episode of Honest to God, we’re going to cry, burp, and laugh our way through the not-so-pretty story of why I decided to create this podcast. We’re taking it back to the start and digging deep: I expose the roots of my (misguided) search for love, belonging, and truth, before unpacking some of the pitfalls and realizations that ultimately helped me find them. It’s a story that moves through pain and confusion, towards peace and understanding—a worthwhile journey acutely intertwined with my rediscovery of Christ midway through college. We’ll discuss who this podcast is for, what I hope it will offer, and the very terrifying reality of talking about God on the internet.  My only instruction? Brew your beverage of choice and buckle in, besties. We’re diving DEEP into the trenches, then taking off in hot pursuit of healthy growth towards more joyful, satisfied versions of ourselves.
