The Doula of Self-Directed Learning
I recently described Robyn to a friend as the doula of self-directed learning. Just as a birth doula supports a mother by explaining all of her options surrounding labor and birth, Robyn provides options and casts vision for what a home education can be. Like a doula supports a family post-partum, Robyn walks with families to answer questions and offer resources. Her voice is one brimming with joy, and it’s contagious. She’s the voice in my ear any free moment I have— I’ve devoured nearly fifty episodes since finding her podcast four months ago. Robyn, your podcast is a true light in our family’s unschooling journey. Thank you!
