The feeling inspired by dark stories
This awesome podcast focuses on the catharsis we receive from exploring subjects that are otherwise difficult to talk about, or even identify sometimes. It's excellent in its approach, with each host bringing something unique to the table.  Horror serves the same function and shares the same beats as comedy; this podcast could be especially enjoyable for scaredy-cats 😽 who don't want to watch scary movies, but do enjoy discussions of culture, politics, and the metaphysical, as the hosts do a great job of breaking down and explaining the "joke" and "punchline" of each episode (that also means there are some spoilers), sans the actual jumpscares. :) If you're looking for an introspective, fun read on contemporary media  - with monsters - this is your show!Read full review »

More reviews of Horror Joy
Horror joy presents an intellectual and amusing discussion of horror and the joy it can elicit. The depth of their analysis and rapport between the professors challenges the listener to explore their own perspective. I am eagerly anticipating the next episode.
