Get ready for an episode filled with overshares because we're talking the hot & steamy sexual politics of John McNaughton's 1998 classic Wild Things! Joining us for the conversation are the hosts of the People Under the Scares podcast: Bobby Torrez and Mike Brown!
Put your thinking caps on as we try to pick apart this tangled web of a(n admittedly entertaining) plot while lamenting the exclusion of a key queer relationship and the inclusion of Neve Campbell's climactic wig. Oh yeah, and...

We're unlocking the Patreon vault with last year's episode on Scream (2022) - with bonus new content around the 1:57 mark!
We're covering *everything*, including "Re-quel" rules, what we think of the new cast (Barrera! Ortega! Savoy Brown!), our fave set pieces, how the legacy characters are handled, as well as the film's controversial elements, including that cameo and the killer[s] motivation.
Plus: what we expect from a (now confirmed, but at the time hypothetical) sixth entry and our...

Lock the bedroom door and be mindful of whose hand you're holding because we're headed to Hill House with Robert Wise's 1963 adaptation of Shirley Jackson's The Haunting. Along for the ride is Robyn Adams, who is a huge fan of the material and brings with her vital knowledge of the book.
Up for debate: how predatory is lesbian Theo? Is Nell queer-coded? And is her relationship to Dr. Markway an attempt to throw off censors?
Plus: loving Mrs. Dudley, Joe's silver lining read of the sad ending,...

We're gonna get you, Stewart, because we're closing out Weird Sex Month with a look at Mike Nichols' sometimes boring, sometimes hilarious, sometimes uncomfortable, sometimes slow motion and always baffling 1994 film Wolf.
Join us as we try to figure out how this thing got made, as it's a complete tonal and genre mishmash that doesn't always work, but it's never anything less than fascinating to watch. Don't worry, we go all in on the film's many production troubles.

We're cracking our knuckles in anticipation of Michelle Garza Cervera's feature debut Huesera: The Bone Woman (2022), which tackles pregnancy and post-partum in ways that are comparable to The Babadook and Hypochondriac.
Featuring a stunning lead performance by newcomer Natalia Solián, Huesera has great foley work, some good jump scares, and lots to say about queerness and motherhood.
Plus: a different kind of fridging scene and an ending that we want to hear from parents about

Subscribe to the Not-See Party podcast and be wary of walrus dicks because for week 3 of Weird Sex Month we're talking about Kevin Smith's second foray into horror, 2014's Tusk. Along for the Canadian journey is Dede Crimmins, who has watched this movie *a lot.*
Yes, this is the infamous "Justin Long gets turned into a Walrus" movie and we have plenty of thoughts on his early douchebag performance, Michael Parks' epic monologues, the fetish-y Mr. Tusk skin suit, and...oh right, Johnny Depp's...

Plus: low budget filmmaking, changing characters and motivations, Joe's husband's odd personal connection, and how an HIV diagnosis is no longer a death sentence.

Cover your webcams and watch out for tasers because we're talking Jon Abrahams' Exploited (2022). C/W: sexual assault.
This indie film features male nudity in two minutes, boys in singlets and Leah F*****G Pipes running around in lingerie. It's also got about 12 storylines, uneven acting and far too many twists in the surprisingly dark last act.
Basically: she's a messy bitch that tries to tackle too much, but Exploited is so explicitly queer, pro-sex and unabashedly wild that we had to cover...
