Confronting the Scream of the Ancient Beast
We had regular visitor Robert Marro back on the show talking about his ambitions to write a new book on his close friend Malachi Martin. Here is what he had to say:
"I was a very close friend of Malachi for the last decade of his life until his untimely death on July 27, 1999. Countless people have told me that since I was Malachi's confidante who knew and assisted Malachi Martin daily, I’m obligated to tell the story of this holy priest I was privileged to call my best friend and spiritual advisor.
I'm compelled to set the record straight due to the continuing widespread misinformation about him on the Internet; a vicious mixture of gossip, rumor, lies, and outright slander. The book's working title is "MALACHI MARTIN - A Holy Priest Against the Approaching Scream of the ANCIENT BEAST." Strictly speaking, it will be a non-fiction biographic memoir that won't shy away from addressing the more controversial issues that continue to plague Malachi Martin’s legacy to this day unfairly."

Inside Sharon Rectory Part 4
Having chatted to Emma on a previous episode we decided to take her up on her invitation to the Rectory and we thought we'd bring you along.
PODCAST HERE
Built in 1775 as a Church of Ireland rectory, Sharon Rectory was the site of a gruesome double-murder in 1797 when the Rev William Hamilton and his wife Sara Waller were ruthlessly murdered by the United Irishmen on the eve of the 1798 Rebellion. The ancient mansion is said to be haunted by lost souls and a malevolent spirit that gives the house a demonic presence. Sharon Rectory fell into disrepair following years of disuse but was bought by Vincent and Lisa Tully in the 1990s. The couple renovated the dilapidated property and moved in with their two daughters.

People accusing Fr. Martin of “inappropriate” relationship with his landlady, a significant number of priests have companion relationships (whether gay or straight) & secret families that are simply kept on the down-low.
Raised by a strict Roman Catholic from a long line of Jesuits (my father was born in 1909), but born in 1966, last of the siblings. I’ve had my issues with the church throughout my life, I do not throw the baby out with the murky water of misogyny & forced assimilation (& genocide) of indigenous. I’m grateful for many gifts the relationship I formed with Christ. That said, I incorporated ‘Hostage to the Devil’ in my masters thesis of therapy including Paranormal & Trauma relationship. I’m enjoying this immensely.
