“I love the hosts of Hot Take, Amy Westervelt and Mary Annaïse Hegler — & their guests! These episodes are thoughtful, insightful, creative and critically important to life. I love the laughter, as a way to deal with how absurd some things are, & then what strikes the hosts as just funny. That’s the joy in the climate movement that I’m looking for. I am an ecologist and climate scientist, and I recommend this podcast and other Critical Frequency podcasts to everyone I talk to. I love the premise of “how we’re talking or not talking about climate,” when it’s clear that an effective way to reach climate solutions is to talk about climate and those solutions. Grateful for Hot Take and being a hot cake!”
