Tragic story, done right
At a time when journalists up the sleaze factor by modulating their voices to inject drama, Cristina Corbin has given us a tragic tale told with insight and compassion—but also the proper distance so rare in current journalism. Interviewees are questioned with respect instead of a greedy lurch for sordid details. The effect is that the listener feels sorrow for Jennifer Kasse and her family instead of thinking “What if this happened to me?” We need more podcasts from her.

Just discovered what binge listening is all about. Spine tingling, terrifying. I hope the Kesses sued the crap out of Mosaic’s owners for premises liability.

I am hooked on this true crime podcast! Cristina Corbin really draws you in and is such a pleasure to listen to. This is a sad and fascinating story told by a pro.

Tried to stick it out, but episode 8 is full on racist. Blatant, unchecked accusations about “illegals”.
