Would have gotten 5 stars but this show disappeared for a long time and then popped up with so many episodes at once I may never catch up, BUT, anyone who interviews Paul Dooley is a hero. I was jazzed the man is still alive. This show interviews amazing folks I remember beginning in my...Read full review »

Where has John been? I haven’t seen new episodes since June! I hope it’s because John’s been working on some great movie project. I hope he’s OK, and will return soon. If anyone has any news, please share! Thanks. -Nick Davis

I love this podcast. John Ross Bowie asks the most thoughtful questions and his guests provide such interesting and detailed answers. It almost seems like listening in on a casual conversation. I hope there will be new episodes!

Awesome idea. I like seeing spotlight on great, prolific working actors. Great for everyone tired of hearing the same stories from the same performers. John is true fan of actors, a good story, & all things acting. Please don’t apologize if episodes run “too long” as your episodes are great...Read full review »

A podcast where a working actor talks to other working actors about their work? It's brilliant in its simplicity, and John Ross Bowie is exactly the right person to empathize and kibitz with his contemporaries about the challenges of carving out a career as a character actor when the entire...Read full review »

I am not an actor, but I love to hear artists talk about how they create their work. This podcast does not disappoint. John Ross Bowie is extremely knowledgeable about film/television history, and he has such reverence for the art of TV/filmmaking and for actors’ roles in that process. His interviews are incredibly engaging, and I learn something new with each episode. Thank you, JRB!

…and I love this podcast so much. Growing up in the 60’s and 70’s I watched a lot of TV. The stories here are filled with such joy. Some not joyful are still filled with passion. I am enjoying this podcast as it focuses on those who contribute so much to make TV/movies better but are often left “below the line.” John Ross Bowie’s knowledge of pop culture is amazing.

I knew I knew this guy from “What the Bleep Do You Know”, one of my favorite movies of all time. He’s a charming, eloquent host. The concept of the show is excellent! The guests are great. So - what forces me to give this a 3/5? It’s horribly edited together. Blaring, annoying organ music...Read full review »

I’m a huge fan of John Ross Bowie and his multi-faceted acting career. More than a character actor (as he refers to himself frequently on the podcast), he is a journeyman actor whose performances have elevated many of the TV shows on which he has appeared. On this podcast, he interviews fellow...Read full review »

So far this podcast is dynamite! The guests are great and the conversation flows beautifully. It’s not your typical interview sort of show - it feels more like you get to listen in on old friends chatting. I’m so glad I found out about this!
