“Please, please, please for the love of all things holy, stop playing awful background music. I am listening to the episode on Howard Schultz and it detracts from the whole experience of listening to his story. ONLY add music when it enhances the experience, you don’t need to play music when someone is speaking. You are drowning out meaningful and important pieces of his story with crappy bass strums. I WANT to love this and keep listening because these stories are so valuable and inspiring. I even already have a Wondery subscription but it makes it difficult to listen to and discourages me from wanting to. Let the stories speak for themselves, stop over producing.”
