Are you kidding me?? I could not get through one lecture. This is from the Dark Ages. Stereotypes lecture was so outdated.

Usually I like hearing psychology talks because of all the neat things you learn about yourself and others. There are definitely things to be learned in these, but I could have done without all 6 of these lectures. Possibly even the reviewer who called it politically correct might have a point...Read full review »

Where's the human being in all this crap ? Psychology's not only about sciences who believe wrongly to have truth and objectivity. It's not psychology, it's just numbers and little studies. Psychology is actually a multiple field, with fascinating views when we decide not to reduce it to this...Read full review »

seems Greg Walton see's that ethnic kid's are a disadvantge even if they are from a wealthy background, but it doesn't stop him saying White kids then Black kids he always puts the White kid first so no matter what the charts say over the years he is still thinking that White is the most...Read full review »

The title is misleading, how to think as in what is happening in a given situation and the theories to apply instead it provides many Case studies with no mention of accuracy.

I was excited about this course after reading the great reviews. After 6 hours that it took to finally download just the 1st video, each time I try to watch the video I get a msg that says, "playback failed".

I highly recommend these lectures! Kelly McGonigal did an amazing job with this course, as with every course she teaches. I got a lot out of the series. I recommend these lectures for everyone, both for people who study psychology, and those who are just casually interested.

These lectures make me think of the happenings that go about everyday that play a great role in my life . I feel that because of these videos I can tackle the adversity I face with the power of mental strength.
