Raw, brave and heartbreaking
I don’t know when I’ve heard somebody talk about such personal horror and pain as you did today. Your voice imparted an enormity of wickedness and horror that a written book just never could. Your unflinching retelling made me cry for the little boy that was you and for the man who now lives, forever, with the scars inflicted by those who should have kept you safe. As a mother, I’m so, so sorry you were failed. I send you love and wishes for everything that is good in life.
