As others have pointed out the references to the “Queen of England” are offensive to those of us who are British but not English. An apparently basic failure to understand the UK constitution doesn’t exactly inspire confidence in the accuracy of anything else in the podcast.

It doesnt matter how this story is told. (Some reviewers have quibbles). It needs to be told over and over and over again. A modern Bluebeard’s Castle the entire establishment should be ashamed of.

It’s so funny listening to this over-earnest & self-aggrandising journalist puffing up his work as though he’d done much more than watch the Netflix doc on the subject. Time filling throughout each episode with weird little chats with his ‘producer’ Polly Filler talking about...nothing.

I found it interesting but the narrator’s ego and over the top delivery make it unlistenable. I had to stop shortly into episode 2. Pity.
