One of the best, if not THE best, podcasts of all time. Worth the incredible discomfort for one of the most fascinating stories ever told

It take a lot to stomach this story but it’s absolutely enthralling. Good job, storytelling and production were fantastic.

This podcast is an exceptional display of journalism and reporting. It was absolutely gut-wrenching to listen to, and there were times when I almost had to stop, but I’m glad I didn’t. This topic needs more attention, and this podcast has done a great job, despite the horrific subject matter, at...Read full review »

5 stars on such a well done podcast. Don't be afraid to listen! It's reality and it was actually a relief to know how amazing, committed and brave all these journalists and law enforcement are who are catching these people and saving kids.Read full review »

Listened to it in 2 days, while the topic is disturbing it’s such a crazy journey. Wish it was longer and we could get more about the fbi finding others involved in the hunt.

The story is totally shocking. All I can say is that the Super Heros are the investigative Journalists and police, who have collaborated around the world to combat Evil and bring down selfish, remorseless sociopaths and their league of toxic followers. You make the World a decent place, as little...Read full review »

A “must-listen” for anyone who cares for children. Hunting Warhead should be the gold standard for true crime & investigative podcasts. Remarkably well done, while being delivered with tremendous sensitivity and respect towards victims, survivors, and their families. No hyperbole or...Read full review »

Without doubt this is one of the best true crime podcasts, absolutely disgusting and vile crimes but this is a must listen for everyone. The criminals should be chemically castrated for these crimes and brining this story to the masses is so important. Well done and thank you for reporting on this.

This is a truly despicable topic but the podcast is done so well that it becomes essential listening. The presentation is provocative, providing insights & perspectives from all participants - victims, families, police, psychiatrists & the pedophiles themselves.

I have never feel any emotions listening to podcasts. I found that I could always distance myself. This was the first time I felt disgust and horror. My stomach was doing back flips, I was uneasy, and I couldn’t sleep at night. I needed to take short pauses from the trepidation of listening to a...Read full review »

What an amazing effort this podcast has made in bringing this problem into the light. I strongly feel that although we cannot obliterate child sexual abuse, we can significantly decrease it if we stop pretending it’s hidden/out of our reach. We can find these people. Most of them are right there...Read full review »

This is one of the best podcast productions I’ve ever listened to. It’s extremely well researched, produced and presented, and definitely not for those who are sensitive or dislike dark material. The content is disturbing and horrific, but this is what child abuse is. It’s vile, it will anger...Read full review »

How can you be angry with him? He raped a 4 year old. You want to hug him? The garbage clearly didn’t fall far from the tree.

I missed how it was that Ben wound up in Kentucky, in my home town. But as he is talking with you and calling you from the jail cell, I hear he is calling from “Daviess County, Kentucky”, which is my hometown. Then I hear the sentencing is in TN, which is where I live now. This has been...Read full review »

As with most parents, this was so eye opening. It will make you want to sit in class with them when you drop them off at school and take another look at their instructors or babysitters. As disturbing as the subject of this podcast was, it was excellently done. Very thorough and informative

Yes, the subject matter is disturbing, but this is one of the most well-written, best produced podcasts...kept me on the edge of my seat. I learned so much from this podcast...it’s not child pornography, it’s child ABUSE! And, it’s gratifying to know that there is an international network of...Read full review »

It’s really, really hard to listen to. When someone drops the volume of the end of a sentence, sometimes, I have to go back and turn it up higher, play that part again...... For a great example of “dropping the end of the sentence”: Michael Barbaro of The Daily does this and I’ve given up...Read full review »

A week after finishing this podcast, my jaw is still on the floor. I can not stop thinking about this. Wow, wow, wow. Incredible journalism! Thank you CBC. A story that needed telling. I would like to know how Ben’s parents think about him now knowing his true self via this podcast. His mask was off. Good on the narrator for not answering the phone.

This is a well constructed podcast on a very difficult topic. However, some of the people are taking so fast (narrator included) that it is often impossible to understand what people are saying.
