Recent Episodes July 27 and August 2
Omgosh, I have been receiving and reading the Hyperallergic on line newsletter for as many years as it’s been available. Gratefully, I have recently been introduced to the Hyperallergic podcasts. To now have access to the conversations and news via the podcast is amazing. Recently I’ve listened to the July 27 episode: “How Contemporary Female Artists Are Grappling with Sexual Violence in Their Work” and the August 2 episode: “Hearing from the Artist Behind Anonymous Was a Woman”. Both outstanding in content, but one of the best aspects is the conversational tone which makes me feel as though I am in the room and part of the conversation. Thank you Hrag and Hyperallergic. Keep this work, these conversations coming.

I look forward to each new episode, as Hrag’s conversational approach to the “deep-dive” is key to its success, not to mention that the content is totally unique, not to be found in any other podcast. This is a super-important voice in the visual artworld. Bonus: the sound quality is exemplary!

Can you make it more conversational, and sound less like you are trying to record a book on tape with perfect diction but no character? Throw some music clips in...Read full review »
