Yikes. There should have been a warning on their recent podcast about pregnancy. Complaining about how pregnancy changes your body and how parts of your body grow and change should not have included so many definitions of “normal” implying being “smaller”. They complained about how finding larger...Read full review »

Super excited for the host’s baby; no seriously, I am!! However I have to be real…I hope the parent-centered convos don’t dominate the show. This is the one place I could tune into as a child free woman of a certain age and not feel out of place. I had to fast forward 1/2 this weeks podcast bc of...Read full review »

Crooked podcasts, aside from PSA, often fail to impress. This is a notable exception. However it might be better titled as “Why every white man is terrible except my husband and my friends”. I get that they think they’re punching up, but I think the shear number of critical comments that rely...Read full review »

I started out listening to this podcast in the pandemic to regain a sense of a “girl group” after missing hanging out with my girlfriends. Unfortunately, there have been way too many episodes where I don’t feel included in the group. I don’t even mean politically. This group totally misses the...Read full review »

Overall, this is a good show with interesting guests. The thing that ruins it is having to fast forward at least 30 minutes into the episode passed all the useless chitchat. If you want to talk about your lives please start another podcast for that.

I’ve been a long time listener of hysteria and and have loved the evolution of the show. Alyssa as the host is by far the best the podcast has ever been. Would love to see her continue as the host.

Thank you for this brilliant podcast every week! I love your feminist take on the news, and just hearing your voices makes my day better. One note on the flowers ladies— I love that you love buying and arranging flowers (November 4th, 2021 podcast). As a floral designer, I know how much joy...Read full review »

Best feminist political podcast ever. I love Alyssa and Erin. Plus all of the other ladies that join- Megan, Makayla, Rhee, Julissa, Akilah and many more. Bring back Ziwe sometimes if you can! Would love to see more regular diversity/intersectional identities represented and not just as interviews. On the one hand I relate a lot to Erin and Alyssa. I used to listen daily, but now I pick my episodes based on the topics - usually pop-culture, sometimes political. For a feminist podcast, there are sure a lot of ads about weight management and counting calories. It’s very unfortunate. I would rate this podcast higher if I didn’t have to hear about how this glass of wine is “only 100 calories” or about keto granola bars with “only 1 g of sugar and 2-3 net...Read full review »

Thank you for covering a wide range of topics, especially love the many one liners, feel like I’m in on an inside joke. I reside in rural MN with few others to talk with about women issues, politics, etc in a healthy way and look forward to new episodes.

I appreciate the Alyssa/Erin discussions as those are always spot-ON. However, the panel discussion is hit-or-miss, depending on who is on that week. Hysteria is one of the best podcasts around. Smart, funny, bold and unapologetic, these women are superheroes to me. Keep doing what you do and we’ll continue to hope for the madness of the world to fade away. So much work to do, but first the words must be spoken. Hysteria rules.

I've listened to HYS, PSA, PSP and PSW since their kickoff.
