“Update: There is no reason each episode of this pod should be more than an hour long. The news portion up front is just a rehash of every big news item we’ve all already heard about ad nauseum by the time the episode airs. Then I usually just fast forward through the middle, i.e, whatever interview politician or political candidate they are interviewing, because it’s always just self-promotional and lacks authenticity as a result. Plus, it’s so obvious Alyssa is just reading her questions from a script. (The exact opposite of engaging.) Then the group girl chat at the back half (after like 7 minutes of ads) is usually way too long. Alyssa and Erin are both SO afraid of offending anyone. Constantly soft pedaling. Which I find ironic...I thought we were all here for each other! I guess at this point, I’m only really here for the sani-petty corner at the end.
These ladies sure are smug. And they think EVERY week is a “bad news week.” Plus, there is nothing nuanced or very interesting at all about their political opinions. They simply regurgitate the predictable talking points they know will resonate with their audience. What a missed opportunity to dive deeper. Discussion like this is exactly why the Left is vilified in this country. And it IS a great country. I am so tired of the hosts slamming the U.S., a country that provides the freedom for you to have this platform in the first place. Plus the ads are just WAY too long, in typical Crooked fashion. I usually enjoy the main segment in the middle of each episode, but the political rhetoric is completely rote.”
