“Michael is really one of those guys you just wonder how and why they stick around. He’s a 50 year old aging Jew who sounds like he’s trying hard to be an edgy teen from the hood you’d see in an 80’s movie or something. He’s permanently stuck in adolescence and nothing about him seems genuine. Even his opinions seem like he purposefully tries to spout hot takes that go against the grain to be “edgy” and down with the cause.
There are very few times where he seems genuine but they are so few and far between before he goes right back in to this shtick and then it’s like listening to a cartoon character again.
I’d really like to listen to a podcast with more Rappaport and not this bad acting character he seems to be permanently stuck in. If you’re a big fan I’d say give it a listen but for sports if you’re looking for something that seems more honest I’d look elsewhere”
