Episode 3 - Stop asking "Why?" and start asking "What?"
Subject: This was an impromptu recording that was done with my good friend Andrew Gommeson who has cerebral palsy and is confined to a wheel chair but is being used powerfully in the work of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I asked Andrew to share his testimony and give you a glimpse into his growing ministry. The works of God are being powerfully displayed in and through his life and I promise that you will be blessed by his story!
Scripture Reference: John 9:1-3
Jesus Heals a Man Born Blind
As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" "Neither this man nor his parents sinned," said Jesus, "but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life." -
Episode 2 - "Nowhere Else To Go"
Scripture References: Luke 15:4 Jesus leaves the ninety-nine in the open country to find the one lost sheep. Luke 18:35-42 “Jesus heals a blind beggar” – We don’t quote these scriptures in the Podcast directly but they are good visuals for the story of our guest today. If you haven’t read them before, I suggest you take a minute and do so.
We were blessed to have Andrew join us today to share his testimony. When we met Andrew he was living at the Guiding Light Mission (a local homeless shelter). It was there he realized that when he was in the place where he had nowhere else to go, his heart was finally open to experiencing God’s grace in Jesus Christ. There was a jail cell, a Bible, and a broken man but there in that place was also a Savior who seeks the lost. Come join us today to hear the rest of the story. -
