Listen now
Description
In episode 12 of the ICIS Hydrogen Insights podcast, hydrogen editor Jake Stones and Neil McDonald, managing director of Australia-based hydrogen exploration company Gold Hydrogen dig deep into the potential for natural hydrogen, also referred to as gold or white hydrogen. Natural hydrogen differs from most types or colours of hydrogen as it does not need to be produced. Instead, natural hydrogen is extracted from underground reserves. The emergence of natural hydrogen exploration companies such as Gold Hydrogen has marked an important development to the potential supply side for future hydrogen markets, presenting a low-cost, low-emissions hydrogen source.
