Not great...
I love gossip, I love celebs, and I love female comedians. However, I feel like this entire podcast just screams "trying too hard." The fact that I found out about it from another podcast ad where they said "no one is listening, not one," was already like a "ehhhhhhh" moment, because I don't like being guilt tripped - instead show me why it's funny or interesting. However, it did sound like my type of podcast, so I went to go listen. When I started listening, the whole thing was the same sort of weird "we need this to be funny!!!" energy. It's not like their info was wrong, but it didn't feel genuine or authentic the entire time. I honestly had to turn it off, which was a bummer. I have to say, I got a weird vibe the whole time. I know podcasting is hard and takes time, but the whole thing seems contrived and too awkward, like they're just seeing how popular podcasters can be and want that same attention, instead of actually enjoying talking with each other.Read full review »

This pod genuinely makes me feel seen as a black theatre kid. That’s it, that’s the tweet.
